I've really enjoyed most of this course. I have found it
frustrating at this time of year and in my current position,
as I can only do most of it after 7pm when the kids are in bed
and that doesn't give great light or variety of subjects
available. Therefore some of my favorite shots are from before
I started the course.
The lessons that I've learnt however are going to be so
beneficial to my photography, I can't wait to play when time
becomes more my own again. I was unfortunately one of the many
that believed that everything had to be centered and I've
already enjoyed arranging things differently within the frame
for a very different perspective. Thank you.
I've realized that my favorite types of photography are
abstract/macro shots of mainly natural subjects - although
I've submitted plants (flowers), I've also got some
interesting shots of wood piles and even mud tracks.
and people, but not posed - I really enjoy taking shots of my
children and their friends just playing and exploring.
I would like to have the opportunity at some point to
experiment with some different colored filters and some
different angled lenses with some more landscape shots.
Watch this space!
