Sitting on the backseat of a taxi from Al-Ain market, Dubai
right after midday, there wasn’t much things to do than to
wait while observing the shops along the street. The traffic
light was red and I had the chance to look closer at what was
happening to my surroundings. It was right at that moment, a
few seconds away from the green light, a few foots away from
me I saw the view that grabbed my attention and the sensor on
my brain just directs my hands to search for my pocket camera
in my bag and lower the windshield. I took a snap as quick as
I can before the man noticed me. People in Dubai are friendly
but I just preferred that he just kept doing his work instead
of looking at me.
I went to the hotel and downloaded my image. It probably
wasn’t the best picture but I was very happy with it. I
captured the picture of an ordinary man in the outskirt of
modern Dubai city. His hair and face were clean (perhaps he
was just returning from a Friday prayer) and he looks so
content with his work.
