I do not have anymore photographs that might apply to negative space. However, I wanted to resubmit a photo that applies to the rule of thirds. Does this apply more to the rule of third?

Hello.
I think you’ve done a great job of showcasing your understanding of the rule of thirds. Although your main object is located vertically center in the picture, you’re horizon is located right were it should be 2/3rds up the picture. It is apparent that you’ve found more interest in the shapes and textures within the grass than you did within the sky. This is great! Many photographers will less interesting part of the photograph in the 2/3rds and the more interesting element in the 1/3rd. I’m glad to see you got it right.
The only criticisms I have are that you’re tonal range could be more “deep”. However, that is something you’ll learn about in upcoming chapters. Overall…. Fantastic shot. Be proud! |
