Smile this lesson was really great. I never realised how interesting a glass or a crumpled up piece of paper could be. The glass had all sorts of light bouncing off and the shadows on the paper were amazing. Great assignment !

Hi,

When I first read the assignment for lesson 2, I didn't really feel like using a finger camera. But I did ... and have been amazed at the results.

Suddenly I found myself looking at everything differently. I kept looking at things; moving it to the four corners of my 'viewfinder' and seeing different shots. I found myself far more aware of what's out there, what's going to make a good shot. I was also amazed how your background can effect your subject.

I must confess though, since I have a digital camera and knew I'd not be wasting film, I did repeat the assignment (with the plant), using my camera. It helped a lot as well. Wink

Blessings,
Melody

the first assignment was fun..i never thought that there is a so called "finger camera" that allows us to see what is inside a limited frame. and ohh, it makes you see different views of the subject..zoom in and out..the finger camera can give you different results.
It's an imaginary camera..Amazing!

Hi to all! Just want to share something about this lesson. I did try my finger camera on a plant even while I was at work! I was just so excited about learning and I couldn't help to check out my lesson. Anyways, though my buddy at work asked me what I was doing which I couldn't tell her! I really find it amazing how photography works. It does make sense that things aren't just what we see through the lens of the camera but there are so much details on a subject when you really look at it. I love the glass subject which I tried at home and my daughter laughed at me when I told her I am taking pictures with my finger camera. I tried my wine glass. But I didn't think putting water in it. It's pretty interesting to see things in different angle.

Regards,
XTN
